My art and me

My name is Melanie Mecklin. 

 In spring of 2023 I graduated from online media studies from Arcada University Of Applied Sciences with a bachelors degree, Bachelor of Arts and Culture. During my time there, I learned alot about designing and how to emphasize the messages and image wanting to be brought forward, with the design only. 

My art journey started at home when I was a child as it was always encouraged to do all kinds of art by my family. It all began with pencils which then became painting and crafting. Later I picked up digital art and now even tattoos. I still do all of this on a regular basis and when I get to create something, I pour my heart and soul into it. 

I have been working on the entertainment department on Vikingline as an entertainer for families and kids. Along with this job, I have aquired additional skills and confidence in talking infront of a big crowd and to communicate clearly but shortly. 

On the side of my studies and other work, I have been working with clients by making custom work for them with crafts such as digital art, clothes, accessories and jewelery and now even tattoos. 

Lastly, new challenges motivate me and I am always eager to grow and develop my skills further. As a person, I am happy, humoristic, kind and bubbly and I get along with everyone.
